product events. Coordinated ride and drive events for new TRD vehicle packages
and suspension upgrades.
RACING
Joined the Sports Car Club
of America in 1989, and began participating in
club events held in California. I built my first car in 1991 and was
fourth
in overall in season points that year. I had nine podium finishes during
this time.
I have won the Annual Cal Club's Endurance Race and finished second twice out of five years. I love all endurance sedan racing.
I
have been working as a Professional driver for Automotive Marketing Consultants Inc. since October 2002. I have been very lucky and have been able to drive many awesome vehicles such as giving “hot
laps” in the Mercedes AMG C32, S55 (Daytona), Volvo S60R (300 hp), Dodge SRT-4, Volvo XC90, Cadillac CTS-V, and
Mitsubishi EVO!.
Also, I've instructed advanced
driving on the Volvo programs and AMG Challenge while at AMCI.
I ended up an episode of the
History Channel’s “Modern Marvels”, driving the Volvo XC90
SUV to demonstrate that vehicle’s Roll Stability Control system. I should
say that the Volvo was on TV, and a faint outline of my hands could be seen on the steering
wheel! Most of my appearances on TV were not of me at all and just my handiwork behind the wheel while a local
new channel was covering our driving event!
